TERMS OF WARRANTY

NOTE: The use of non-original MAAN carbon filters may cause malfunction, damage to the hood and void the warranty.

  1. MAAN sp. z.o.o. with its registered office in Podole, Podole 9 05-600 Grójec, hereinafter referred to as the Guarantor, grants a guarantee for the efficient operation of the equipment for a period of 2 years (24 months) from the date of purchase.
  2. The warranty does not exclude, limit or suspend the buyer’s rights under the provisions on warranty for defects in the sold item.
  3. The warranty is valid in the territory of the Republic of Poland.
  4. The guarantor ensures that the equipment is free from defects.
  5. The warranty card is invalid without the date of purchase, seller’s stamp, proof of purchase and legible signature of the seller and the buyer, as well as with corrections and deletions made by unauthorized persons. The guarantor ensures that the equipment is free from defects.
  6. Defects or damage to the equipment should be reported within 7 days from the date of their occurrence to the helpline number.
  7. Defects or damage resulting from the fault of the Guarantor, revealed during the warranty period, will be removed free of charge by the nearest authorized service center of the Guarantor within 14 days from the date of reporting the defect.
  8. The Guarantor may replace the defective equipment when the Buyer requests its repair, as well as repair it when the Buyer requests its replacement, if bringing the goods into compliance with the contract in the manner chosen by the Buyer is impossible or would require excessive costs for the Guarantor. The Guarantor is obliged to notify the Buyer about the method of choosing to bring the goods into conformity with the contract, giving the reason within 7 days from the date of reporting the defect.
  9. The repair period may be extended to 21 days if the repair requires the import of spare parts from abroad.
  10. The equipment cannot be replaced if its price has been reduced due to a defect.
  11. The Guarantor is released from liability under the warranty for damage to the equipment caused by its faulty assembly, storage, use and repairs and modifications by unauthorized persons and not related to the Guarantor.
  12. The warranty does not cover:
    • mechanical, chemical and thermal damage,
    • glass and plastic elements, including all kinds of discoloration and adjustments provided for in the instruction manual (replacement of light bulbs, connecting cords, checking operation). They can only be carried out at the user’s expense,
    • damage to the equipment resulting from improper or inconsistent installation, maintenance and use instructions,
  13. Damage caused by random causes, in particular as a result of overvoltage in the electrical system, fire, flooding, chemical agents.
  14. The warranty does not apply if:
    • the entries in the warranty card will be incompatible with the equipment (type, model)
    • interference or repair by unauthorized persons or unauthorized services is found,
    • non-original parts were used for the repair
  15. The customer is obliged to make the equipment available for repair, including disassembly and assembly of the hood, remove any elements of kitchen furniture that are not a component of the hood and prevent the repair of the equipment.
  16. The hood is intended only for use in an individual household. Using the hood for purposes other than those specified above voids the warranty.
  17. Warranty repairs are performed by the Guarantor’s Authorized Warranty Service. Repairs carried out by unauthorized services result in the loss of warranty rights.
  18. The warranty repair does not cover the activities provided for in the user manual, which the user of the device is obliged to do.
  19. In the event of calling the Guarantor’s Authorized Warranty Service, the user of the device may be required to cover the travel costs of the Service Technician, when the complaint cannot be considered due to the lack of a valid Warranty Card, and the user has concealed this fact from the Guarantor.
  20. In the event of an unjustified call to the Guarantor’s Authorized Warranty Service, the user of the device may be required to cover the costs of the SERVICE.
  21. In the event of non-conformity of the equipment with the contract of sale, the buyer is entitled by law to remedies by and at the expense of the seller, and the warranty does not affect these remedies.
